Wanda Health is working currently with medical professionals  to support the monitoring of already-vulnerable patients during the COVID-19 pandemic by extending our existing telehealth and remote patient care platform with services to cover information relevant to COVID-19.


Providing access to patient symptoms early, while extending the pool of resources able to access patient’s data, will help reduce pressure on hospitals, increase the standard of care, help prioritize patients according to their medical need, and provide reassurance to vulnerable people.

How it Works

Doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers using Wanda’s COVID-19 Telehealth services are able to provide patients and quarantined individuals with automated symptom screening and remote ongoing care management for those who are symptomatic or have tested positive to the virus. Federal, state and commercial payers have approved multiple services and billing codes to allow medical professionals to be reimbursed for the use of telehealth services to combat the COVID-19 virus.  

  • Patient receives automated Daily COVID-19 Health Checks which follow CDC symptom guidance as well as reporting their temperature and other relevant vitals for analysis

  • The automated Daily Health Checks are delivered from the Wanda Telehealth platform across multiple channels, including telephone, Interactive Voice Response, Text, and mobile app, which improves patient satisfaction and ease of use

  • The patients can then be monitored by clinical staff who may themselves be self-isolating, as well as clinicians working routinely

  • Patients can request to be contacted by their doctor who can discuss their symptoms and treatment using live visual telehealth

  • Patients can also work with their care team to help them follow their care, such as schedule reminders to take medications or learn more about the details of their medication regimen
